MPCC 18th Fairway
This project was designed by some of the best in the industry. Feldman Architecture created the architectural plans & design with almost 100 pages of drawings to fully detail out the project. Their work consisted of completely redesigning a home that was an approved non conforming structure and making the original design work within all new parameters. The general layout of the home was completely redesigned and we were still able to maintain the tall ceiling heights by keeping some of the existing walls/foundation. The architects came up with additional square footage by creating a kitchen addition on the south side and a primary bedroom addition on the west side. They also provided thorough detail on making the windows floor to ceiling as well as other sleek details to make the home look “simple and unassuming”.
Our interior design team Raili Ca. had the responsibility of providing all furnishings and helping select the finish material palette. Their work really made the home feel fun and inviting. The best part of this experience was being able to brainstorm with the design team (including the designers, owners and architects) in order to come up with a design that would be functional, tasteful, and without compromise.
Exterior photos will be on the way toward the end of 2023 once the landscaping matures and once the home has had the opportunity to wear in. I once worked with a custom tile fabricator from Italy who said “if you use fine materials, they will wear in and become even more comfortable and beautiful as they age, just like a nice pair of italian leather shoes”.
