Pebble Beach Residence 2

This home was the starting point to my general contracting license. While my father was the general contractor on this project, I studied for my own license helping manage production, perform foreman carpentry duties, and work with the design team to make this design a reality.

The process of construction here was a true design & build experience. We worked with Maison Luxe of Seattle, AST Design Group, & BFSLA of Monterey to develop the design directives and we collaborated as a team once a month on site to determine which items were next on the critical path to design and create.

Our scope of work for this project included: Framing, Window Installation, Millwork installation, and overall project management. Through this project I developed significant relationships with subs, vendors, and local consultants to fulfill a contractor’s obligation of building a high-end home with the owner in mind.

Overall, this project was a rewarding experience with an opportunity to build something great and apply all the fundamentals that the license board expects from a general contractor. My knowledge and skills from the teachings of my father and the information provided by the Contractors State License Board really helped influence the productive outcome of this project.
